Welcome to Grasshopper's

We are a friendly class who thrive on positive praise and encouragement. We support each other through our learning and always push to succeed. 

PE is on Thursday and Friday. No jewellery is to be worn, earrings to be removed or taped.  Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school at all times, including their coloured house t-shirt.

For homework, I would like the children to access Timestable Rockstars to support their times table fluency.  This should be for a minimum of 20 minutes. Spellings are given out weekly. Children are to choose 5 of their spellings to put into sentences in their exercise homework book.

Both spellings and online homework will be checked every Thursday. Spelling tests will take place on a Thursday.

Please help your child read at least 3 times a week. Please sign and date where they are up to and any comments in their reading record. Reading books are changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
