As we start another week in lockdown I'd like to congratulate everyone for how well you're all coping so far. There will be days when you don't feel like you are coping but trust me when I say you are! It's such a diffciult time and we have to make the best of it. Taking your daily exercise is a vital part of that, even if it's just a walk around the block, as long as your socially distancing that fresh air will do you good. Don't forget I'm only at the end of an email or a facebook message if you need anything.
This week the weather doesn't look too promising so I've got an indoor challenge for you. We have a new vicar at St Aidan's Church that we haven't been able to meet yet. Father Shaun Baldwin joined the parish just as all this madness was starting and he was unable to get in to school to meet us all.
Your challenge this week is to write a welcome letter, or even a prayer if you wish, that we can send on to Father Shaun to make him feel welcome at St Aidan's. You can either take a photo of your letter/prayer and post it on the school facebook page or you can email it to me at [email protected]. I can't wait to read your work!
There's also lots of fun challenges that your class teachers have set for you - have a look at thier blogs on your website class page. There's lots for you to do to keep you busy. Trust me when I say that time passes much quicker if you keep yourself busy.
Keep smiling, take care and stay safe!
